Nightlife In Casper

From pubs to clubs, Nightlife Adventure Guide Chad Lore says that whichever venue you hit, "you're not going to be sitting alone for too long." Chad should know; a local comedian/musician/entertainer, he performs at many of Casper's hot spots on a regular basis. One of his longest running gigs is Wednesday nights at Casper's "world famous" Wonder Bar. Known for its food, microbrews and history, this non-smoking establishment attracts a diverse crowd that often sings along with Lore once he takes the stage. "It might get a little wild!" he warns.

For a special treat, Chad suggests sneakin' to the Beacon Club. A true western bar, the Beacon Club is where many locals go for live music and western dancing. Chad also recommends Sidelines Sports Bar, which hosts Casper's longest Happy Hour from 4 to 10 PM every night of the week. Although billed as a sports bar, its youthful clientele stays out late to boogie to rock, hip hop, and electronic dance music until closing time.

Other favorite haunts include the Pump Room at Poor Boys Steakhouse for its cozy atmosphere, Frosty's for juicy burgers, the Sandbar Lounge for dart and pool action, Old Chicago for nightly trivia, and Karen & Jim's Movie Star Lounge for live karaoke Saturday nights.
